The PerkinElmer Opera Phenix is ideal for high-throughput high-content multidimensional fluorescence imaging of live samples in multiwell plates. The incorporated robotic arm and incubator allows the user to observe longitudinal studies of single cells, cells in 3D matrices and organoids. This system allows for spinning disc confocal microscopy or epi-fluorescence microscopy.

Main features:

  • Integrated environment chamber for live-cell time-lapse imaging
  • Fluorescence imaging with up to 5 laser lines and 14 different emission filters
  • Brightfield imaging
  • Simultaneous 4-color imaging with 4 separate cameras, enabling rapid image acquisition
  • High-throughput imaging of well-plates that can be coupled to analysis pipelines for immediate data analysis
  • Built-in analysis software for segmentation of desired cells/particles and extraction of different parameters
